The weekly update. 

Right on! The first two appear to have been successful! That's good I guess..... Lol

Monday 1/19/15- well after p-day we had what's called a district P-day! So that was cool! We played what's called gator ball! Which is like soccer, football, and basketball put together! It's crazy! We also played some other games! Haha After that we went shopping and stuff! Got some broccoli..... That was good, also some carrots. So that's cool! Hahaha then we went to the Johnson's for dinner! That was great! It was their daughters birthday! So we had some cake! And guess what Chan I ATE A MUSHROOM!!!!!!! It was crazy, and I hated it.... Hahaha oh well I guess it's a step in the right direction lol! Hahaha We didn't do too much after that! Good day! Enjoyed all the emails! Love everyone!! 

Tuesday 1/20/15- thoughts on the day.... Love watching storms brew over ocean. Like there are just giant storms brewing over there, and they never really hit us. But they are big and menacing. Also just south of us, apparently is a very large crack head population. Like I guess cocoa has a lot of crack heads, and a big illegal drug business! Today was a good day! We went and had three lessons! We had a member present, and two less actives! I was pumped! We then just helped "R" out with some more stuff!!! We actually went to be witnesses for him at a church disciplinary hearing! It was crazy!! We didn't do much! And then afterwards we got to watch the latter half of the launch of a rocket! It's payload was a new military satellite for the navy! It was cool Dad, we actually saw the different parts fall off and stuff! Loved it! Now I'm on exchanges with Elder Davis! He's a great guy from Payson Utah!! We are gonna have a good time!

Wednesday 1/21/15- so today was probably the craziest day of my mission. So me and Elder Davis woke up and got to our studies! Haha Also we made a smoothie with carrots, spinach, strawberries, mango, banana, all sorts of fruits and yogurt. Weirdest thing I've ever had! Hahaha Then we went to district meeting and had a good time there! Then we went to Taco Bell, where I had one taco, cause it's all my funds would allow! Haha Then we got a call from president, for Elder Pinate! He got his call to a new mission! So we had to end exchanges early, went our separates ways! Elder Pinate got called to Washington! He's on a mini mission right now! He's from Miami, they wanted to make sure he could handle the stress! So now he's going there in a week! But during that time me and Elder Willard, taught three lessons, and talked to a ton of people! It was great! We were so productive for that time! Then at 7:00 the other elders finally returned! Haha they left at 2:30..... Hahaha traffic I guess was bad! Then we had some chicken, and decided to start over our exchange! Hahaha so now we are on round two me and district leader elder Davis! So wish us luck we are excited! He's a great guy, and we get along really well!! But really weird day! It was good and productive! I was happy! Everyone is talking about transfers coming up! No one knows what the crap is gonna happen! And I'm getting all anxious! Haha We'll know Saturday!!

Thursday 1/22/15- so today was super fun! We were on exchanges! I was with elder Davis! That was a good time! Haha We did our studies and stuff! And I made some good eggs, I was proud! We did studies then we went to IP! We face booked and stuff and I posted for the second time which was cra cra. I got three likes! Lol. Then we went back and had some lunch! We had chicken sandwiches! And I'm so proud of myself. I made brownies. Like decent brownies! It's freaking awesome! I was PUMPED!! After that we had a lot of knocking to do! So we knocked on at least 75 doors!! That was great! Nothing to crazy happened! Then we had dinner at a buffet! It was another oriental Buffet. It was good! Then we had a lesson with a 13 year old girl, and "R" and his daughter came with us! It was super frustrating because we didn't get a lot of words out! "R" kinda took over! It was super annoying! Uggggggg. But we got control and it was successful in the end! Then we went home, I exchanged and I freaking crashed in bed! Hahaha it was a good day!!

Friday 1/23/15- today was Good. We did a lot! We had a good member meal! We then did some planning! Then we got a replacement phone! Because ours has been broken for the last couple of days! We had to yell in it for people to hear us! It was quite comical! Hahahaha so finally we got a new phone! We was happy! :) Then we did our planning! The weekly planning session of death. Hahaha Then after we taught this awesome woman named "B"! She rides horses and is from the south! She likes horses, guns, and the bible! But she loves the church! So she's a new gator! After that we taught "J" and set a date with him for baptism!!!!! How great! Then we gave "R" a blessing afterwords! It was great! What a great day! So funny though, Dad sent me a friend request on Facebook! Hahaha I told him that I can't add him! So I had to say no..... Hahaha so weird to deny your dad as your Facebook friend! Hahaha also with "R", we went down a road that he used to buy crack on. It was creepy, like you could literally feel the evil that existed there. It was really really creepy!! Hahaha love you all!! Tomorrow I find out if I'm getting transferred or not! It's crazy!!!!! Love you so much! Turtles!!

Saturday 1/24/15- today was kinda rough for one reason. Both me and Elder Willard are staying in this area! Which is good cause the work is picking up in this area! But I don't know if I can handle another six weeks with Willard. There is gonna be a lot we talk about this coming week I plan on changing some things! But I was actually kinda mad last night when we found out! Needless to say I prayed for Like 30 minutes last night! I'd love it if ya'll could keep on praying for me, and sending me letters, emails, etc. that helps a lot!! Speaking of that I got a package from Grandma Panko, and Pa Boo!! It was more essential oils for my diffuser! I was pumped! That thing works miracles!! Hahaha helps so much! I am grateful!!  Well yesterday during our finding we found a family that is interested! So that was good! And we just did a lot of service with "R" as we usually do on Saturdays! It was a good day other then the news we received late last night! 

I'm not sure what happened to Sunday's- but it didn't come through :/ ......

The weekly update. 

Here weeee goooooo.....

Monday-1/12/14) worst day ever...... Oregon lost. Dad gumit. Oh well! I guess there is next year. I think I know why. Because I watched a little bit of it. The Lord was punishing me..... Lol, but funny story the house we were at their dog came up and pooped on me when I was watching it... Hahahaha Like it literally wiped it's crap on me. Gosh that was horrible, like I am now scarred forever! It wasn't the worst day ever though! Shay emailed me which was great! I'm super grateful! And I got a cool hat!! Lol, also Mom I bought a confederate flag.... It's dope! I'll send pics!! Anywho that was the Monday, I'm writing this the day after, so I'm a little depressed bout the game, hoping the package helps! I love you all.... 

Shout out to Erika Burningham! She's da best!

Tuesday-1/13/14) today was good!! We did a lot! We just went around and talked to people, and offered help! It was good! I ate it on my bike, hahaha just a little in the sand! So I'm totes fine! No worries! I got those CD's from Brooke! I was pumped, and they are just what I wanted! Thank you so much! They are perfect! They have brought me and my comp much joy!! Hahaha so thank you so much! After that we just had to stop by some members houses. Nothing too crazy happened today. I did a lot of reflecting, a lot of thinking about friends, and loved ones, my life will never be the same after this! And honestly it scares me! I was a little sad thinking about how some of my friends will forget about me. Ahhhh sometimes your just sad as a missionary. This life is so tough! Elder Willard was asking me about the girls back home, and that was not making it any better! Hahaha ohhh well! You guys are great have a good week!!

Wednesday-1/14/15 today was a good day! First we woke up and got ready and went to interviews! That was fun, I was the first missionary to get interviewed! That was crazy! Hahaha it was a good interview! We talked about some good stuff! Love President Berry! He told me I was doing a great job, which meant the world. Then we had district meeting! That was great! I got the package!!!!! Which I freaking loved! Thank you sooooooo muchhhhh the Oregon jersey is perfect! And the Rose bowl shirt I love! Love all the socks! And those are some nice pens!;) hahaha Made my life! After that we did some tracting! We talked to plenty of people! We went to greet some new move ins! They are cra cra! We shared a scripture with them, and she talked about how she blew her colon.... Goodnessss It was gross.... Then we just did some more moving a round! We had dinner at a members house that was fun!! Then after that I got guilted into buying a doughnut.... Lol! Hahaha I went in to use the bathroom at Dunkin Doughnuts, and the lady looked so sad when I walked past that I bought a chocolate one! Hahaha Then after that we went to this cool bridge! It was fun day! Hahaha So thankful for the package! Like you guys have no idea! I hope y'all get mine soon! I love you guys!!

Wednesday question "If you could be any animal what would you be?"

Thursday-1/15/15) it twas a good day today! We did all our studies in the morning! Then we got a text from Bro Leach, to go see a less active! So we went to go see her and BANG MIRACLE!! So I guess she has been struggling with some serious depression. One of her sons died in March from a heart attack, but before that he had a serious drug problem. He was actually on the road to recovery when he passed! I guess it was pretty traumatic for her, cause she's the one who found him. But that is compounded by the fact that her other two children now ignore her because they feel it was her fault. I guess she prayed the other night for a sign that God still loved her. And we were it! Pretty cra cra!! Haha She's so awesome though! She's hilarious! She is the southeast regional manager for the U.S. Military education program. So guess what Mom, she said she'd help me decide what field I should go into!;) LOL She's loaded.... She actually offered to buy us a car! Hahaha her conversion story is way cool too! I guess she has a hard time going to church cause she flies almost every weekend! Any ways after that we went to go see Sis "F"!  We are trying to help her kick smoking, she's doing good! Then we went home to eat dinner! I'm eating so good! I think I may have lost some weight, but it's tough to tell cause I have no scale! But I feel I look better! That jersey that you got me is great because it's kinda small, like it fits and I can wear it, but I don't look as good as I do in my other ones! So it's motivating me to loose weight! Love it!! Then at 7:00 we went to teach "M" about the Word of Wisdom! Fun lesson! Hahaha but it went well! We made a camp fire! And made smores (well I didn't) but they used peanut butter cups! Looked good! Any who I'm gonna stop now love you Guys!

Friday-1/16/15) so today was lots of fun..... Hahaha We first did our normal studies! I had a good study! Learned lots! Haha Then we went to do IP. That was good! That's always boring though! Haha I posted for the first Time on Facebook! So that was cool! Haha don't know how many likes I got, like it matters! Haha Then after that we had to go teach "W"! Who actually isn't a member! He's a Baptist, and we are reading the Book of Mormon with him! It's cool cause he's starting to see that the Book of Mormon and Bible teach a lot of the same stuff! Then after that we had to bike home, (bro Johnson gave us a ride there) it's like a 6 mile bike ride! That on top of the fact that we've already biked this whole week, and I'm on a diet! Goodness that was tough! But we pulled through! Then we did weekly planning, which is a five hour long planning session, where we plan for the peeps we be teaching! That was great! Hahaha and Elder Willard don't do to much to help... Then after that we did some finding, and got 10 doors shut in our face! And one guy who said we could come back, so I guess that's good! Kinda a boring day, not much happened! I've been eating soooooo good! So I'm praying for results! Hahah love you guys! I pray for all y'all! #Squartles #imsotired....... #whenandwhereiskelly 

Saturday-1/17/15) we had a great day today! So we basically had a service day with Rob! Which was fun! We first drove around for a little bit to see what we could do! Then we stopped by a family and we did a bunch of random stuff! But Rob has this super nice power washer! So I got to use that for a little! It has 4200 PSI!!! Which is nuts, that thing could take your foot off! I guess it's a big thing to power wash drive ways down here! So we did that! After that Rob went to scrap some metal and we went with him, and he got 39 dollars so we got some lunch! After that we cut this guys yard in our Ward, he just got laid off! We worked hard! I also got to use this super nice backpack blower that Rob owns, it blows wind at 230 MPH! It was cra cra!! So after that we helped Rob move some big TVs, we basically spent the whole day with Rob, actually we did! Lol. We then had some dinner with him, and taught his kids! So it was a good day! Learned a lot of cool stuff! Like how to power wash, how not to parent, how bad some people have it around the world, and that a little service goes very far! I love this work, but we need to teach more! That is what brings me the most joy is teaching and feeling the spirit. I love conveying this message of truth and hope to people! It's just the best! It touches their lives and it touches mine as I share it! Today "S" and her family got baptized, at least I'm pretty sure they did! I'm so happy for them! I'm sad I couldn't go, but I'm glad they did it! They are like a second family! That makes 5 baptisms for elder C. Not bad at 5 months in! Not like anyone is counting, and the numbers don't matter too!! Love you all!! #SavageMissonary #gett'erdone #ThisIsChistsChurch 

Side note! Forgot to mention that last Friday before we went to the temple they had a rocket launch at the Kennedy space center! It was crazy! It went off probably at 4:50 in the morning! The windows shook, and it was LOUD!!! I pooped my pants cause I thought we were gonna get hit by a train! It was cool to watch though! So this Tuesday at 7:40ish their is a rocket launch! And I'm gonna try to take pictures and record it but well see if the camera corporates! Love you guys!! 

Sunday-1/18/15) so today was a good day! We did our normal studies and stuff!! I had another great study today! I read outta Abraham 3!!! Crazy chapter talks about Kolob and its revolutions, some crazy deep doctrine, mystery of the kingdom stuff!! Then of course we went to church, had a good day there! Nothing to crazy happened there! I got a message from "S"! Her family got baptized! I'm so happy for them! They are the best! So after church we went to Bro Leachs house for some good food! He told us about pranks he used to pull on his roommates, I have some good ideas now! Lol! Hahaha Then we just went to visit a less active family that have a cool last name! Starts with "T"... That was our day! Pretty normal! Nice Sunday! Good week, we have A TON to work on but that's okay! Better that than nothing! This week I've learned that diligence is key. That as we are more diligent and show the Lord we WANT success, then He will bless us! The same is for life! If we want something we must work for it. Then if God is willing, he'll make up the rest! It's a glorious eternal truth! This gospel changes and blesses lives, not just for this life but the next! It's awesome! The church is true! Love you all have a great week! I hope you enjoy these dumb emails, I'm not much of a poet! Turtles!

 Carter has become friends with some guys that are champion fire dancers! He sent video of them doing their thing and it's amazing! They let some of the Elders hold the fire stick! And Carter was given a training one and he is practicing hard! :)

 I sent Carter a paper tree and decorations for him and Elder Bagshaw to decorate at Christmas! They did such a fantastic job! It turned out GREAT!

 I also sent some wall stickers... they put them up well! CUTE!

The weekly update. 

So I'm gonna try this thing! So after everyday I'm gonna take notes on the day, then copy and paste to the email! Let me know what you think! 

Monday 1/5/15- so after we emailed, we got some groceries! Then we went to Bro Johnson's house! He's awesome! He's from Payson Utah! And he's who's house we Skype at! We played this game called settlers of Catan. It's weird, but fun! Then after we went to Sister Colvin's house and had some Panda Express... Gotta love dat. Shared a quick message, and yeah. Then I had to "drop da kids off at the pool" so we went to the local shell gas station. After words we went and taught these two great guys! We taught the restoration, and they LOVED it! We gave them a Book of Mormon, and they gave us hugs cause they were pumped! It was great!! Then we went home and partied. By that I mean we broke out the cookies and orange juice, turned on some reggae we found and planned. #bangbang #donkeybrolic

Tuesday 1/6/15- today was lots of fun! So we did our usual studies from 8-11. During that time we got a call from the district leader Elder Davis, he assigned me to give a training tomorrow in district meeting! So that's cool! Then we went and did IP, which is internet Proselyting. I got okayed from the ZL's to go ahead and ad friends! So if you haven't yet, I need yah to delete that Facebook! Anyways met an interesting guy there, some black dude, who told me I shouldn't be there, and that I should go play for BYU! Haha he said "maybe they'll play better!" It was funny! Then we went to this jewelry store, so Elder Willard could get his girlfriend something! Lol... The store is owned by the relief society prez. So we got a list of less active peeps to go see! We saw a couple of them, then we went to a sisters house (trailer)... We shared a quick scripture with her! Then we had a dinner appointment with the Smiths! They served us spaghetti. Which I've had four times since I've been here! It was alright! Then we shared a quick message with them! After that grand old time, we went to brothers house who's a great guy! And we taught his kids! Cause they don't really know why they got baptized... Haha that was fun! Then after we just went home! And yeah... Turtles. Also sent off y'all's, CHRISTMAS package.... Freakin tortugas...

Wednesday 1/7/15- today was a good day! We had district meeting today, which is when we get together as a district and LEARN. I had to give the training! My very first solo training! And of course the zone leaders were there.... Haha apparently it was a killer training! I was happy! Everyone said I did a great job! The zone leaders were pumped! Any who! After that we went back home got some lunch, and visited some peeps we were assigned to go see! That took probably 3 1/2 hours! That was a party! Then we had dinner, and went to teach some guys! That fell through, so Rob the guy who was with us, said "let's go to B's" which was great cause we had a good lesson with her, and helped her move heavy stufffff.... Which is a partaaaa. Haha I always end up getting asked to move things! It's great! It was a good day, me and Elder Willard are really struggling to get along. We are just different, and he's honestly kinda rude in my opinion. He's also very confident. So he comes across as prideful, but he's just trying too hard. It's rough. Probs the toughest thing on my mission to this point. So pray for me! Hopefully he warms up, cause I'm seriously sick of this crap! I could punch him!! LoL.... Question Wednesday "If you could wear one shirt for the rest of your life what would it be?" I'll answer on Sunday!;)

Thursday 1/8/15- today was tons of fun! So we first woke up and did our usual studies!! First the personal, then the companionship, then twelve weeks. So during the twelve weeks, Elder Willard and I talked out all of our differences! We talked about a lot of stuff, but it was good talk. We resolved our differences, and agreed to keep on truckin'! We aren't the best of friends, and our relationship isn't perfect, but it's a ton better! So after that we had to go to Walmart because we neglected to get water! So we did that, and afterwords we did some IP! That was way fun, because now that I can add friends on Facebook I can message people back in Hunters Creek! (do not add me on Facebook, unless you are a non-member and really wanting to learn about the gospel! Not my rules just the mission presidents! Sorry!) so "S" already messaged me and it was great! Then after that we went to a less actives house, and talked for a while and shared a message! Then we helped Rob lay sod. Okay so that freaking sucks! I am now motivated to get a great job! But yeah we laid two and half pallets of sod in 2 hours! Gosh that was a party! Then after that we had dinner with the Manual's. We went to woody's barbecue! Hahaha they are soooooooooo funny! Although the food wasn't as good R and R! Haha Yah they are an old couple that work for NASA! Gosh they make me laugh! On the T.V. was ESPN, and they were talking about the ducks! I saw some of the TD's from the rose bowl, gosh I'm so sad I missed it! It looked like they just destroyed Florida state! Hahaha Oh well!! After that we taught Marisa! She's great! Yeah a good day! Love you guys!!

Friday 1/9/15- TEMPLE TRIP!!!!!!!!!! Greatest day ever! Gosh the Orlando temple is beautiful! It is a really nice temple! The celestial room is so white, and perfect, and just great, grand, wonderful! It was so nice to get away and feel the spirit soooo strong!! Gosh I love the temple so much! Especially since I've been on the mish and been able to learn and grow! Any ways we had to get up at 4:45 to go there, cause the session was at 7:30 and its an hour and a half drive, goodness...... Any ways after that we just got some lunch with Brother Johnson, and went home to plan! That was fun! We had dinner with the Chavez family! They are crazy..... Hahaha any ways I'm super tired! So I'm gonna go to bed! Love you all..... Squartles.  Also "S" and her family are getting baptized a week from Saturday!! YAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy! Saturday 1/10/15- today was a great day! So first we did our usual studies! But during personal study, I had an ah-ha moment and I'm confident it was revelation! So I had the idea to create a questions book, and in it I'm going to write from here on out every question that is asked of me and my comp in it! It's gonna be freakin' awesome! Any ways after that we visited a less active family! We only really talked to the mother, but boy she has some attractive daughters.... #lockupyourheart Anyways she's very nice, and we had a good chat! She agreed to let us come back! Which is great! After that we had Brother Hall (great guy) pick us up and we had some pizza at his place and talked about conspiracy theories.... Lol. Then we went to stake conference! That was AMAZINGLY GREAT!!! A guy by the name of Elder Zuick of the first quorum of the seventies was there, it was so cool! He told us some cool stuff! One story that he shared was amazing! So he said that he was In a lunch room, with Elder L Tom Perry, of the quorum of the twelve. He asked him about how the trip to the Vatican was with president Eyring.(the trip was to represent us at the marriage conference to discuss gay and lesbian marriage, and the Vatican hosted it. A rep, from every major Christian church was there.) He said when they arrived the Pope welcomed them, and he asked them "How do you guys (mormons) get so much stuff done?" Elder Perry said that it was the biggest compliment he's gotten there, since he's represented us there before! Elder Zuick said that it was just evidence that we have the Preisthood authority of God. I got to shake his hand afterwords! Great day! Then we just went on home! Most of the day was at stake conference but it was way cool!!

Sunday 1/11/15- so today was good, we went to stake conference! Again Elder Zuick delivered a beautiful talk! Actually him and his wife did! I took some cool notes, and really tried my best to learn from them! His talk was on how we really know the Savior! It was killer! Loved it! Then after we went home and had some lunch, and then got to work. We taught a less active, received two referrals, contracted them, taught them, and set up a new appointment with them. Then we also taught another lesson! For a grand total of three lessons, two new investigators, and three new appointments, all done in three hours. #bangbang We went hard! I was pumped! Great stuff! The Lord blesses us when we most need it! Then we went to the Johnson's house, and then taught "R's" children who don't know anything about the gospel.... Hahaha our numbers this week looked really good, which reflects well on me as the senior comp. It's not about the numbers, but with them they can make sure we are working, and it's motivates and accelerates the work! We had a good week! One with a lot of downs and not to many ups. Luckily with lots of faith and diligence we pulled through! Looking forward to that package! Love you guys!
